一、翻譯器和翻譯機應是同義詞。

機器翻譯（Machine Translation）或稱機械翻譯、自動翻譯，屬於電腦語言學的範疇，其研究是藉由電腦程式將文字或演說從一種自然語言翻譯成另一種自然語言。翻譯機（或器）可以指機械翻譯工具、電子詞典(Wikipedia)。
翻譯器是廣義的翻譯概念，也可以認為是翻譯機，也可以認為是在線翻譯，或者是翻譯聊天工具。翻譯器綜合了翻譯工具，翻譯服務為要素的概念(台灣wiki)。國語辭典解釋「器」是用具的總稱；「機」是機器的通稱。是故，翻譯器和翻譯機其實是同一樣東西。如: 「ili」有人稱其為翻譯器，也有人稱其為翻譯機。

建議將中文主題詞表中相關詞彙修正為:
自動翻譯  不用  機器翻譯；機械翻譯

二、Power-plants與Electric power-plants
Power-plants與Electric power-plants翻譯成中文，皆指發電廠、電廠、電力廠。英語也有幾種寫法：Power station、Generating station、Power plant、Powerhouse。建議由LCSH表中所用詞彙、BT/NT及複分標目等，去定義和區分這兩詞用法：

Electric power-plants偏重於各類型電源電廠及電廠的工程與實質運作，電廠從電力的生產、電的儲存、電力配送傳輸…是一項大工程，若要做更專指性的細分，除各類型電廠，還包括各型電廠的電力系統、設計、結構、效能、測試、通風…。

總之，因我們圖書館員沒有此方面的學科背景，建議從類表的上下位及複分架構去了解該標題的涵義，才好選擇適當的詞彙標引文獻。
