| 內容 | This article reports findings from an exploratory comparative study of cataloging practitioners’ perceptions of cataloging ethics, comparing questionnaire data collected in 2019 and 2024. We examine whether practitioners believe ethical issues exist in cataloging, which issues they consider most important, how often they encounter them, how they respond, and what resources inform ethical decision-making. Findings reveal both continuity and change in practitioner perspectives. Core ethical concerns remained stable, particularly around bias, representation, quality, and access, while 2024 participants showed greater awareness of systemic harms, increased reliance on collaboration, and reduced reliance on standards alone. |
