The article discusses the guidelines in Resource Description and Access (RDA). The conceptual model of the bibliographic universe is described in the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) and the Functional Requirements for Authority Data (FRAD). RDA is divided into two parts, the entities and various relationships. The author suggests the perusal of the RDA table of contents to be familiar with the finer points of its structure.
