The article discusses the highlights of several meetings on Resource Description and Access (RDA) in cataloging in 2011. The experience of Michigan State University in switching from Online Computer Library Catalog (OCLC) to Sky River was taken up at the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) Cataloging and Classification Section (CCS) forum. The enabling of library staff to take on new duties due to the shift of focus on unique content material was featured in the ALCTS CCS Copy Cataloging Interest Group.
